Origin
In general, God is the single all-powerful entity of the monotheistic Abrahamic religions, the creator of all that is and is solely responsible for all creation - past, present and future.
Most Christians simply refer to Him as "God" or "Lord," or other variations of this; some Christians refer to Him as Jehovah. Arab Christians and Moslems call him Allah ("the God"). Moslems believe he has 99 names, all referring to a specific aspect of the one God. In Judaism, He is known as YHWH, but usually referred to as HaShem ("the Name") or Adonai ("Master" or "Lord").
According to the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, God exists in three coequal, coeternal, consubstantial divine persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit, three distinct persons (hypostases) sharing one essence/substance/nature.
According to Abrahamic belief, He is the creator of Earth and mankind, the first two humans being Adam and Eve.
According to mainstream Christian doctrine, the principal enemy of God is Satan, a rebellious angel cast from Heaven who resides in Hell. Most Muslims view god's enemy to be Iblis, an evil Jinn, most Jews on the other hand do not believe in the existence of such a figure.
Some characters whose origins are directly related to God are Cold, Reaper Rabbit, Kid Eternity, the Little Mermaid, Lucifer, the Man in the Moon, Samson, Noah, Moses, King David, King Solomon, and many more.
